Barriers related to provider availability, geographic access, cost, and system capacity continue to limit care.
Project Beacon was created
Access to gender-affirming care for transgender and gender-diverse youth is increasingly constrained — even for those who have already been clinically evaluated and determined to be medically eligible. Project Beacon was created in response to these gaps. Our goal is to build a sustainable, patient-centered model that expands access while maintaining high clinical standards and continuity of care.
We are building deliberately with a focus on long-term viability, responsible growth, and alignment with evolving clinical guidance.
