Access to gender-affirming care for transgender and gender-diverse youth (under 19 years old) is increasingly limited, even for those who have been clinically evaluated and determined medically eligible. Project Beacon was created to address that gap. Project Beacon is an independent nonprofit organization providing patient-centered, evidence-based care grounded in WPATH Standards of Care (SOC v8) and delivered by licensed clinicians. Our model is designed for accessibility, with telehealth as the primary entry point. In-person services are also coming soon.
Project Beacon is building this work with intention; prioritizing clinical rigor, patient safety, and long-term sustainability.
